Whether hosting the extended family or keeping things more intimate this Thanksgiving, we all want to make it special by adding some little touches of the season to our home decor. We welcomed the amazingly talented @StaceyKasdorf into St. Vital Centre to help show us how simple and easy it can be. Here are Stacey’s finds and why they caught her eye.

I love shopping at St. Vital because of the huge selection of quality stores. I wanted to find a few pieces to make our house more cozy heading into fall, so my first stop was Home Sense. I wanted to warm up our bedroom so I grabbed two large Euro shams, two throw pillows with warm tones and an orange throw blanket for the end of the bed. Next, I grabbed some peachy/orange towels, a textured bath mat and fall foliage vase to make the bathroom more inviting. I also couldn't leave without grabbing two white pumpkin mugs for the kitchen and a gold metal pumpkin. I love adding in pieces that tie in with my style, but still give a nod to the season.

Next, I stopped at Indigo and found huge flameless pillar candles that gave off the prettiest glow, I knew these would bring so much warmth into our kitchen as it gets colder (and I wouldn't have to worry about open flames around my little girls). I found the perfect round wooden board to put them on along with a small vase for tea to pair with the candles. Oh, and I found a strand of wooden beads at Home Sense that I knew would work perfectly on this board! I love how it all came together and how much cozier it made our house feel. You don't have to completely change up your decor each season, but adding a few items that are warmer in colour and add texture is a perfect way to make your house cozy for fall.
