3 Lipsticks We’re Loving for Winter

beauty

Hands up if you’re maybe a little lipstick obsessed (note: our hands are way up). While a classic red will always be on point, we love to switch it up with the seasons and try out what’s trending, so we asked our makeup artist to show us this winter’s most irresistible colours. Which will you be trying?

Lipstick 1: Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick in Griselda

If RihRih is in, you know we’re in. The Mattemoiselle formula is top-notch, and this deep berry shade feels just right for fall/winter. Plus, we love how Fenty Beauty’s website shows the same shade on a range of models with drastically different skin tones, meaning that you can get a better sense of how that shade might look on you. Bow down to Rihanna and her team.

Lipstick 2: Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Crucifix

If Kim K has taught us anything, beauty-wise, it’s that a neutral lip colour can make a big impact (ok, there’s also the power of extreme contouring but this is a little more doable in our everyday lives). This soft brown feels like a great place to start experimenting with neutrals this winter.

Lipstick 2: Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita II

Work a brighter shade into your winter lipstick rotation by sticking with those neutral undertones, like this brighter brown shade by Kat Von D. Who says winter must equal dark?

As with lipsticks, taking a fresh look at your other go-tos can be fun this time of year. On that note – have you thought about your eyeglass frames lately? See a roundup of some great options for this overlooked accessory here.
