Video: 3 Women Try Contouring

beauty

Contouring is a big deal in the beauty world right now, and with wedding season just around the corner, it feels like the perfect time to jump on board. If you’re not sure what contouring is, the aim is to enhance your facial structure through shading and highlighting. It certainly isn’t something you need to do on a daily basis, but for those times when you want to add a little extra va-va-voom to your makeup look, this is a great option. You can choose to wear a light powder contour that subtly accentuates your features, or you can go full-on with cream formulas, for a more dramatic outcome. There are so many ways to experiment with this trend – and that’s what makes it so fun!

When it comes to contouring, there's no such thing as one-size-fits-all, so we’re demonstrating the technique on three different women, to show how the process can vary from one face shape to another. Finding the right areas to apply highlight and contour will be unique to everyone, and Josh is breaking down his top recommendations for each of these lovely ladies. Ideally, this video will give you a better understanding of contouring, and help you find a technique that works for you.

Check out the video tutorial above to see how it’s done!
