Toques…you can’t live with ‘em and you can’t live without ‘em – at least not when the mercury drops into the serious minus double digits. But it sure does wreak havoc on our hairstyles. We had about given up having cute hair in the winter, when hair stylist Justin Broesky from St. Vital Unisex showed us three simple, toque-friendly styles that prove stylish AND warm can co-exist when it comes to our hair.
“A few key products can go a long way towards helping your hair in Winnipeg winters,” shares Broesky. His list includes: “A good leave-in conditioner to help put moisture back into your hair after you wash it, a hairspray to control static, and a hair serum to control flyaways, and add moisture and shine.” Need a quick fix-up once you get to the office? Broesky recommends wetting down a comb or brush, giving it a light run through your hair, and setting it with a light-hold hairspray.
Now it’s your turn – how do you style your hair when it’s time to bundle up?
