Shoes
From cross-country to stylish streetwear, good sneakers are always a must-have for growing kiddos. Be sure to bring them with you to ensure the fit is good or, if they can’t come along, take a tracing of their feet that you can slip into each pair.

Nothing beats a boot for fall. Make getting out the door on time a guaranteed thing with a pull-on or zippered option while still looking super stylish. With the ever-changing weather, boots are also a good option when you’re not quite sure what the day will bring. An insulated, rubber-bottomed duck boot looks cute and will keep socks dry.

Jackets
When it’s cold in the morning and warm in the afternoon, layering is the key. Add a cozy sherpa pullover, denim jacket, or lined windbreaker for added warmth on the walk to school. Depending on their age, backpacks can be an easy way to carry a lunch box or used to lug homework to and from school. Much like jackets, hats and gloves can be necessary for the morning and shoved into a backpack by the afternoon. Add mini-gloves (with or without texting fingers) for additional warmth while still being able to easily play. Grab a few extra reusable masks to keep near the door (or stash them in a backpack).
