Dress Your Sign: Sagittarius

fashion

Fall is officially winding down into winter, and as we settle into this thoughtful, introspective season, Sagittariuses everywhere are blowing out birthday candles and planning for another year of discovery and adventure. Sagittarius style is the third entry in our Dress Your Sign series, and we’ve definitely been enjoying seeing how our stylist interprets each sign, and upping our astrology knowledge while we’re at it. Let’s take a closer look the Sagittarius, shall we?

Sagittariuses are known for being adventurous, optimistic, honest, and curious. While they are enthusiastic and regularly take big leaps of faith, they can sometimes bite off more than they can chew – like starting tons of new projects but never finishing them. Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion, which can start to explain Sags’ larger-than-life personalities and how the odds always seem to be in their favour. They have an insatiable appetite for knowledge, which often manifests itself through regular travel and various forms of self-expression.

Like in life, Sagittariuses are risk-takers in their style, pushing style boundaries by adding in bold colours and silhouettes. Our stylist emulated this adventurous attitude with this look built around high-waisted, wide-legged cords. While Sags are typically associated with the colours purple and royal blue, our stylist opted for a burnt orange and brown palette, which feels right on par with the warmth you feel when engaging with a Sagittarius. We accessorized with a conductor hat to keep the mane tame while venturing off the beaten path. And of course, no Archer outfit would be complete without shoes that can keep up with all their adventures.

Sag ladies, did we hit the mark? Let us know in the comments below. If you missed our looks for Libras or our Scorpio style, you can find them here and here.
