Summer’s Coolest Hat Styles

fashion

Summer is the perfect time to experiment with hats – especially if you love being outside as much as we do. We know that hats can be intimidating, but they are so worth it when you find the perfect one. Besides offering sun protection, they have the power to tie an outfit together for a festival, day at the park, or even just at work. Here are a few styles that we can’t get enough of.

If you’re not really a “hat girl”, but are open to bringing one along to the beach, you can’t go wrong with a floppy straw hat. There’s a reason this style has been a go-to for so many years. It’s light and comfortable, keeps the sun out of your eyes, and makes you look like a total beach babe. If you want something more understated, look for a boater hat that has a shorter, flatter brim. This style will shade your eyes while instantly edging your look into model-off-duty territory. For the seasoned hat wearers out there, when was the last time you tried a hat in a fun texture? Chances are suede and ribbon detail weren’t even on your radar. Tan suede gives off a funky western vibe, while black felt feels cool and different – something you could definitely wear into the fall.

And while you’re hat shopping, why not pick up a few accessories? Check out our favourites here!
