Celeb Style Steal: 3 Sunglasses to Copy Now

fashion

Sometimes, all it takes to complete your look is one fabulous pair of shades. It’s safe to say that no one knows the power of a great pair of sunnies better than our favourite celebrities, and that’s why we looked straight to the red carpet regulars for our inspiration. Thanks to the incredible selection at Spareparts, we had no trouble finding just what we were looking for to put us firmly in celeb style territory.

Here are three of our current faves:

Lady & The Vamp
It doesn’t get much more glamorous than marrying Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor, and subsequently dividing your time between tackling prominent human rights cases, walking red carpets, and retreating to your Italian villa. How she does it, we’ll never know, but Amal Clooney manages to make it look effortless and always impeccable – in this case thanks to supremely feminine cat eye sunglasses. The upswept angles and curved, feline edges command attention and exude glamour, which means you get to channel your inner Amal with just a simple pair of sunglasses.

Cool Springs Eternal
Diane Von Furstenberg is the original #GirlBoss. When your fashion design legacy goes back to the ‘70s, and you currently rank as Forbes 68th most powerful woman in the world, you know your style is timeless and in charge. The same goes for classic aviator sunglasses, with their large, teardrop lenses and thin wire frames. Bonus points if you wear this style like a true fashion maverick by keeping things sweet with your outfit, and letting the shades show that you mean business.

A Real Piece of Quirk
If you’re a little bit more of an envelope-pusher when it comes to your style, you might take a cue from hipster starlet Jaime King. This overtly retro half-horned style borrowed from the ‘50s is part Mad Men, part Funny Girl, and definitely all style star. They’re a playful companion to King’s evening party dress, inspiring us to try the style with something unexpected and out-of-the-fashion-box. If vintage warms your heart and you love to play with trends, these shades just might be calling your name.
