It just takes a little practice to figure out how to style a pair with your wardrobe. If you still need convincing, here are two stunning ways to wear over-the-knee boots this season.

Thursday date night at Deseo Bistro: On a snowy date night, the last thing you want is to trudge through the snow in a pair of heels. Over-the-knee boots will give your feet more coverage and take your favourite jeans to new levels. It’s so easy to throw on a pair of boots over jeans – just choose a pair that hit right above the knee to create a long, lean line. As for the top, try a bulky turtleneck or blouse that falls just past your waist to add some volume to the look. Top it all off with a long statement jacket and a fuzzy grey clutch for extra personality.

Saturday night at District Stop: One of the most straightforward ways to wear a pair of knee-high boots this season is to pair them with a dress. For a winter night out, we’re loving a form-fitting sweater dress, and this striped version will look great no matter where your night takes you. A good rule of thumb is to pick a dress that leaves at least three inches of space between your boot top and the dress hem. A funky suede jacket looks great with double buns and takes the ensemble into trendy, grunge-girl territory.
